The Road to 2026

Canada’s Olympic Skimo Journey Starts Here

I came to skimo later than most — but I brought with me years of high-level endurance experience as a Team Canada athlete in cross country, track, and mountain running. After just one season in skimo, I earned a spot on Canada’s national team.

In my second year, I joined the World Cup circuit, helping Canada into an Olympic qualifying position in the Mixed Relay, including a career highlight 9th place finish at the World Championships.

Now, I’m on a mission to help Canada qualify for the sport’s first-ever Olympic appearance in 2026.

As a father and president of my local Nordic ski club, I know that this journey is bigger than one athlete. I speak to local groups, mentor young skiers, and work to build awareness of skimo across Canada and the U.S — because this Olympic moment is a chance to grow the sport for generations to come.

"I want to help put Canadian skimo on the map — not just for 2026, but far beyond."
